01 About TradieNotes

TradieNotes ("we", "us", "our") is an online invoicing tool for New Zealand tradespeople, operated by TradieNotes Limited. By using TradieNotes at tradienotes.nz , you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

02 The Service

TradieNotes allows you to upload a photo of handwritten site notes, which are processed by artificial intelligence to extract job information and generate a PDF invoice. The service is provided on a pay-per-use basis at $1.00 NZD per invoice export .

03 Payment

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
• Payment of $1.00 is required to download each invoice PDF.
• You will be charged only after reviewing your invoice preview and choosing to proceed.

04 Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital goods, payments are non-refundable once a PDF has been generated and delivered.

05 AI Accuracy Disclaimer

TradieNotes uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to read and interpret handwritten notes. While we strive for accuracy, AI extraction is not perfect. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing all extracted data before generating your invoice.
• Ensuring all figures, line items, and client details are correct.
• Verifying that the final invoice meets your requirements before sending it to your client.

TradieNotes accepts no liability for errors in AI-extracted data that result in incorrect invoices being sent to clients.

06 GST & Tax Compliance

TradieNotes provides invoice generation tools only. We are not registered tax agents or accountants. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with New Zealand IRD requirements, including correct GST treatment. If you are unsure about your GST obligations, please consult a qualified accountant.

07 User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. TradieNotes is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.

If you send payment reminders, only send them to your own customers, about money they actually owe you. We limit how many reminder emails can be sent.

08 Data & Privacy

Your use of TradieNotes is also governed by our Privacy Policy , which explains how we collect, use, and store your data.

09 Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on tradienotes.nz is owned by TradieNotes Limited. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, TradieNotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or business opportunity.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
